Network configuration is as follows:

Linux Cable modem gateway/firewall
Internal IP = 192.168.1.250

Main Linux system (with win4lin installed and running)
IP = 192.168.1.1

win4lin TCP/IP
IP = 192.168.1.99

Subnet mask is 255.255.255.0 all around
ipchains rules on gateway/firewall only
Have attempted both 192.168.1.250 and 192.168.1.1 as windows default gateway.
I have also attempted using an ethertap device per netraverse tech support
howto with no success. They have sent me another script (described as "beta")
which I haven't disected yet to see what it trys to do.

I can ping the Linux 1.1 address from 1.250 and the 1.250 address from 1.1
but neither from inside Win4lin.

<small rant>
I haven't been able to get netraverse support to simply list what has to be
installed on each end to make vnet work. I'd like to make sure something
didn't get fouled up in the install and a piece might be missing.
</small rant>

Thanks in advance to any and all with info.
