Hi all

OK, this is making me feel incredibly stupid, but I've been away from using
Word for quite some time, and the new interface is taking some adjusting too.
So here's my dum question. I'm selecting a line of text that I'd like to be a
heading, then pressing Control+1., or Control+2, etc., depending upon the level
I want the heading to be at. Sadly, nothing appears to be working as I'm not
hearing any change in the font verbalised by NVDA. Could it be that some NVDA
setting is wrong which is preventing the verbalisation of the fonts? I also
would quite like to be able to create a table as I have a number of items whose
properties have descriptions and it would be nicer to have it properly
formatted as a table or a list within the document so that the user can more
easily associate the item with the description. This is in view of the fact
that the documents are ultimately to be used by somebody with vision.

Thanks for any assistance, and my apologies for the dum basic questions. I've
been away from word processing in Windows for some time and I confess that it's
also been a while since I've needed to create documents of this complexity.

Kind regards
