Craig and others on line

What should the next step be? Should the idea be introduced at the
Senior Center, to Kensington residents, Callista Court and other assisted
living facilities? Should those involved in SEMCAC, taxis and buses meet?
Should the local churches be in the discussions as they could be a good
source to first identify those who need or have given up their cars.
Should the Transportation committee of the WAPS be asked for their input
as it relates to transporting kids who live under two miles or those
involved in late activities who might use to get home at night as an
option for parents? Can employers provide input on second, third and
weekend workers who lack transportation? Would car dealerships
participate as opposed to them each offering rides for people who's cars
are in for service?

Most important is who will convene the discussion and what might come out
of that first meeting in terms of a working group to move the idea
forward? Ideas??

I checked with a few others and we think this Chauffer idea of yours Paul
has real possibilities.
We have the buses, the taxis and the current SEMCAC volunteer driver
program that could be approached about the idea of a monthly fee. There
might also be an opportunity for an entrepreneur.
