I couldn't agree more about the inefficiency of the current bus routes.
I often thought that a solution to that problem would be to double the number of busses out at one time.
In other words, one bus would leave the center of town at about the time the other bus on that route was at the far end of the route. That should half the time anyone would have to wait for a bus.
It would also make taking the bus more convenient I think because one would be able to better make appointments, meetings, events, etc. if they knew that they wouldn't have to get there nearly an hour in advance or be late.
On a related note regarding the schedules;
Why is it so hard to find the bus schedule? One has to actually RIDE the bus first to get a schedule.
Most other cities I have been in, i.e., St. Paul and St. Cloud, post the schedule at various bus stops along the route(s).
It would seem reasonable to have a schedule posted at the main "terminal" at Third and Center.
