And as long as John Finn simply points out the missing tree, the visible political sign, and his feelings about it I don't see anything uncivil in that.  Unless of course there are other thoughts lurking unspoken . . .

It looks like Winona's at-large east end city council election race will test my ability to maintain civility while on-line or otherwise. This evening I noticed that one of the candidates had the downtown sidewalk tree in front of her buisness establishment mostly chopped off so its sign would be more visible. The lack of regard for our downtown's landscaping, as regular WOD followers might have figured out, is one of my pet peeves.
