[Winona Online Democracy] Eric,
I see and respect your point. I just have another one of my own. I completely agree that "many people see 'the point' differently than [I do]." I would go even further. I believe that in the grand scheme of things, I know nothing. At best, I only have a few very small pieces of the very big puzzle. Other people have other pieces of the puzzle. I need the perspective and input of others to better see and understand problems. Intelligence and experience are important but so are humility and openness. It's like the story of the five blind men trying to figure out what the elephant is. One feels the elephant's trunk and thinks it's a rope. Another one feels it's leg and thinks it's a tree. And so on... That's why I've been asking for this joint meeting and work session for so long. I think you "see" the rope part pretty well but others might "see" the tree part that you might miss. I'll try to bring the tree if you bring the rope. :-> Still looking forward to today's meeting. Dwayne P.S. I apologize for violating the 2 posts per day rule of WOD. If he wants to, I'll let Eric get the last word in and then I'll be done for the day. --------- >Dwayne: > >You still miss the point. I came at Council direction.
