Although I am not online 24 hours a day, I do check periodically. Admonitions and warnings are made privately. Participants should be reminded that personal attacks against another list member are not allowed. Use the following statement as a criterion for contributions:

"Disagreements and conflicting viewpoints are natural part of discussion, but list members should work to discuss them constructively. Talk about the issues, not the individuals. Try to help people understand your point of view without being antagonistic, sarcastic or argumentative. Ask questions to try to understand others' point of view." There should be no insults, name-calling or inflamed speech for the sake of argument. As statewide guides indicate, personal one-on-one arguments, disagreements, and personality conflicts should be taken from the public discussion forum and dealt with in private."

These rules in no way restrict criticism of governmental policies with which you disagree. Nor do they preclude responses to criticisms. List members simply should be civil.

Just wondering if the moderator of this forum is going to address the latest "bluntness" expressed by Mister Perry...or is this now accepted banter on this forum?
