I know I got hit twice today...lol...filling my tank and two packs of smokes was fifty bucks.  Ugh!

Did you all know that Minnesota rules now require that all diesel include 2% vegetable product?  Apparantly it was contingent on 8m gallons of production a year...when that threshold was reached a 90's rule kicked in.  I hope it smells like popcorn...lol...or french fries...anything should smell better than our current trucks when they take off from a stoplight.

Does biodiesel play a part in reducing energy dependence?  I hope it can...E85 can, too, perhaps...I was surprised when my brother told me E85 worked on his minivan...he has had it for years...now apparantly he is thinking about using it.  It didn't have one of those "leaf-things" on the back, so I never knew

Now from a uniquely Winona perspective...our floodwalls and levees are as pristine as they were on the day they were built...even Paul Double will acknowledge that this maintenance is an appropriate use of tax dollars.

New Orleans has experienced freeboard flood wall failures, but the most disastrous events have been levee failures...lack of maintenance, I suspect, is the cause
