If you disagree with something, then it is propaganda, otherwise it is news or information, right? (smiling!) Seriously, consider that at times, as John N. Finn made clear - the local impact of national politics can be pertinent. Do our local elected and appointed work in a vacuum? I think not. They are as connected to the nation as the rest of us, and many consult with peers all over the country. National issues can be terribly relevant.
