[Winona Online Democracy]
Thanks to all the online people who agreed or
disagreed with what i said about the high school. Just remember back to
when the Winona Middle School was being planned and a referendum was passed for
the building. Another question failed at the same time. The one that
would have bought all new computers had failed. Guess what, the building
opened and with it was a room full of new computers. There was to be a men
and women's bathrooms near the auditorium, knowing the problem at the High
School with lack of bathrooms near that auditorium. Those were cut out for
costs, because they were put in near the gym, where they would be used by more
people, was what I had heard. Now all of a sudden there is thousands
of dollars left in the middle school building fund and we are spending it on
fields. All these things are great to have and I wish we could do more for
students, but just wait and see as the high school building is finished.
Question contractors and people who have the finished plans. The board
should not micro-manage, but please ask questions.
