Hi all in this group, I've started with SDR around 1 year ago with a DRM RX Tool and a homemade IQ-RX. After trying to do the code in C++ on my own with some FFT-libraries from intel I realized that it's hard work to get all the features in place and optimized for CPU load. I stopped coding on this project due to missing background infos and - guess what - time constraints...
Then I found Alberto's Tool and it was ways beyond I expected it to be. With the Waterfall it's so easy to see what's going on and what modes are used. Alberto, thanks a lot for your great work!! Now for something different: There are ICs called "digital down converters" from AD or Intersil... Does anybody have ever tried to build an IQ-RX with those "guys"? And does anybody know if there are ICs that can do FFT up to 60Msps? I think ATMEL had one (must be 1 or 2 years ago). Happy new year!
