Alberto,

I am in the (slow) process of building a Softrock style IQ receiver with
the components in my junk box,
but in the meantime I have used Winrad 1.22 to get short wave radio bass
extension with my SSB radio.

I have a fairly decent set of PC speakers and it sounds a lot better
using Winrad with the radio
detuned some 300 Hz. Winrad gets the spectrum back to flat, because my
radio has quite a steep
LF attenuation.

Sometimes the noise reduction abilities of Winrad do help quite a bit.

It also helps to dig for weak CW just as an SWL....I have not attempted
transceiving using Winrad as
CW filter yet...but might try...
