Hello everybody,

I am quite sorry to say that Winrad is no more tested nor compatible with
Win98/95.... these are dead operating
systems, and in the development of Winrad I had the need to use features of the
operating system that were present only
on Windows 2000/XP but not on the older versions. I was faced with the decision
of using alternate, less efficient, ways
of doing what I was in need to do, or to abandon altogether the support of
98/95.

My choice was the latter, also considering that many other similar programs did
take the same way.
C'mon guys... a few months ago I upgraded an old 700 MHz Athlon PC from Win98
to WinXP and I was surprised seeing that,
contrary to what I was expecting, it seemed to run a bit faster than before. So
the myth that old machines cannot run XP
for performance reasons, is just that, a myth... add to this the fact that
Microsoft has closed the support for Win98,
and that the drivers for new hardware are compatible only with 2000/XP, and you
will see that there are good reasons for
leaving Windows 98/95 behind our shoulders.
