We are doing 11a/b/g/n, with 11n in 5Ghz running on a 40 MHz bonded
channel.

And for enclosures, we actually designed our own plastic cover. A local
plastics place produced them for us. We put them over the APs in the
hallways to prevent the occasional football and people that were
re-orienting the antennas :)

Philippe,

If you are using the AP-125 then it sounds like you are using 802.1n.
Are you doing channel bonding? Is 802.1n recommended or essentially
mandatory if planning a wireless-only dorm? Also, are you using the one
of the enclosure options.

Are people using 802.11a or 802.11n in 5.8Ghz?

Thanks to all for the excellent advice coming in!

        Mike
