Hello Elizabeth

We found it difficult to comply with this phrase, and also because in translation to Spanish
there is an even more strict item.

It says that
"Connector will guarantee that the User will comply with the AUP of the visiting organization".

--> How can we guarantee that my users will comply with any AUP of another University (host)?

We rejected this phrase and had it changed to:
"Connector will be responsible for disabling an End User that does not
comply with the Acceptable Use Policy of theOrganization Member of the Service"

--> It is better this way, control must be on the University host side.

Therefore, if you do not like a phrase it is your duty to ask for a
re-phrasing o modification according to your University lawyers liking.

best regards,

Section 3.3.7 of the Internet2 eduroam connector Agreement, states “Connector used reasonable efforts to ensure that such employee or Student IdP User acknowledged the AUP”. I would like to know other institutions are meeting this requirement. We offered K-State branded SSIDs, eduroam, and Guest; users do not have to acknowledge terms of service or accept an AUP. Thanks.
