There's also the tension between users and manufacturers.  The users
are saying "Should I implement this feature myself?  Or should I want
for the manufacturer to come out with this *extremely* obvious,
*extremely* necessary features which make make the manufacturer huge
amounts of money?"  Like ... an access point which implements mesh
routing (which Negroponte simply hand-waved into existance).
