it was a dilemma; wap11 v.2.2 was sleeping every now
and then -that made it quite useless for my
use/purpose; i wanted to hang it right below an
outdoor atennae configured as 'client' device to a
Cisoco Bridge/AP. I simply never tried to see if the
configuration would work. then came the d-link
firmware, here in the forum every one seemed so happy
changing the firmware, i followed.
now, the wap with d-link firware would not associate
with the bridge above. donchicago said in a posting
that he had a couple of d-link 900+ working as bridge
client to the Cisco, he did not mention how he did it,
i sent him a mail, he did not bother to answer.
i would like to try one of the recent linksys
firmwares to see if i could solv my problem.
Problem: i do no know how to install the linksys
firmware now.
Can you help?
thanks
Mila
