Now we've got Intel saying that Atheros is tweaking the standards. http://www.theregister.co.uk/content/69/32884.html
My understanding is that Atheros new chips simply have exceptionally good receive sensitivity. I fail to see how this is "tweaking" the standard.
Is this just FUD from Intel? Or do the new chips have a non-compatibility mode like the various speed-doubling tweaks from them and other manufacturers?
