I really hope this program does well so Alvarian thinks about extending
it to other products like 900mhz. Maybe then we can put a dent in the
broadband all of rural America wants...

It'll take a while for us to install enough APs to drive that kind of

think about for our bigger sites though.
I really like this program. Finally I don't feel like my business is
being used to subsidize the bigger (read telco) players.
My hope is that this program will set a precedent in the market
place. We may be small but we're growing, fast. There were more 1000
and up WISPs at ISPCon than you could shake a stick at. Very cool.
Now we have to wait and see if Alvarion can stick with this program
for the next 3 years so that the market has time to install the base
stations needed to really make this new model shine.
