I agree with the netflow data, it's easy on the router, no super huge 
database required, and here is a link to a demo for a product I've used 
before that may just fit the bill for you, I have used the free edition 
(monitors two interfaces)for some time now for a customers dedicated line 
and it works nicely with lots of handy reporting. Let me know if this helps,
