Went through this with SR9's from Ubiquiti. Even though it was known there was issues with a series or run of SR9 cards, some distributors, rather than send all the cards back and getting new ones, left the old cards in stock and sold them knowing there was a percentage of cards that would be defective. When I got a various orders in from different sources, I noticed some orders came in with a mix of the two different inspection dates on the cards and other orders with only the new inspection date. Cost to me was enormous. Even though the card was a 150.00 +/-, the labor cost to trouble shoot and resolve the problems and lost time was much much more. I don't doubt the reason nobody "knows" is because people are ignorant, it's because they don't want the expense. They are passing the buck on to the wisp.
