Given the experience out here it might be worth creating a database of bunk 
modular radios with date codes and/or batch numbers. In addition to our 
standard test regimen, we mark every radio with a little sticker that 
identifies who we bought it from. This helps narrow down the problem 
supplier or reseller, when issues emerge. This is standard iso-9000 stuff.

But there is a saying "you can't test your way into quality" and we all need 
to pushback to the suppliers and manufacturers - even tho it's a hassle. I'd 
be happy to pay more if it meant we'd always get quality. But with 
unreasonable pricing pressures I don't see that happening. Can anyone really 
expect a carrier-grade 350mw 5 Ghz radio for $53 ??
