The 5/8 heliax will work on any freq up to 6.1ghz is the cut-off.

The loss on 2.4ghz is low enough that you can make up for it will the higher
powered XR2 cards and the better receive sensitivity off the XR2 helps out
also. The nice thing about the loss on your signals makes the noise floor go
down also. :)
