Most normal providers are more than willing to work with you as the contract nears its end. They should have said let¹s talk in a couple of months or something. Just means the sales guy/gal was lazy. If they were new or hungry for the sale they would be jumping at the opportunity to extend the contract. I have seen 3 years contracts be re-negotiated 18 months into the contract. Just means the contract was extended.
