One day when I was there pulling my hair out I noticed every time her furnace kicked on the signal dropped. Either the motor or the electronics was creating some nasty RF. I am going to try to get there late this week and see what I can figure out. I do know that it is not 802.11 that is interfering as my laptop did not see any other APs.
