They have been replacing the cable for months and month. I'm really surprised you haven't heard of the problem yet as it is all over the Ubiquiti forums and in the ubiquiti mailing list here and they have been replacing them as long as you show receipts for purchase of the old cable. They are handling it fine and replacing cable at no cost and you don't have to send it back. This email would make more sense if it was sent 5-6 months ago but it is old news now.
