I just heard about these problems last
week at WISPAPALOOZA from Matt
Villarreal. It sounds like a serious
issue and one that should be addressed by
the manufacturer. While Ubiquiti is a
great partner for WISPA and the industry,
they do need to take responsibility for
products developed and pushed to market
without proper testing. I am BCC copying
Ben Moore to see what they intend to do
about this problem. It will be
interesting to know how many reels of this
defective cable were sold, whether the
defective coating has been corrected and
whether replacement cable will be
shipped.
It would be the best interest of everyone
if class action can be avoided. Let’s
come to the table and come to a
satisfactory conclusion for all. I will
await Ben and Ubiquiti’s response before
taking any further steps.
Where
there is a Wisp, there is a way!
Respectfully,
Rick Harnish
