Thank you very much. This is the sort of information I wanted. I figured out the bit about the slot for a Wireless card to turn the Actiontec into a wireless AP after I posted this letter here, and am checking out that option. But since I already have purchased, opened, screwed around with, and lost the box for the D-:Link DI-514, I will try to get that working first. I did get an error message once telling me there was a conflict with another computer, so I must have been on the right track to access the http://192.168.0.1/ with 2 computers on the same network. Or something similar to that. So I am going to reset the DI-514 and see if I can configure it per your instructions.
