Can we say vulnerabilities? MS' IIS has the largest amount of
security issues amongst the web servers out there. Even Gartner
recommends Apache. Anyone who is concerned about up-time & stability
should be looking at alternatives. If they are not, then the
programmers do not look past their own noses (i.e. Microsoft).
As for scalability, how many other technologies can you move between
3 different platforms (Linux, Mac & Windows)?
Although, it would help all of us developers if Witango or even any
of the distributors put together comparisons of technologies: ASP,
PHP, ColdFusion, etc. Who knows? They might be even working on
something like this as we speak...
