We are using the Crystal Enterprise program on a Windows 2000 server with Tango 2000 sp1. There is a lot of functionality to the Crystal package we don't use. At this point, we copy the report to a directory, publish it with the Crystal Publisher Wizard and then use WiTango to send call the report with appropriate parameters(you can either send the parameter variable values by order or reference them by variable name). I find I can do a better parameter screen from Witango than Crystal does. You can also determine the type of viewer to use (active x, java, html frames, etc) from the command line as well as the file format. If you want an Excel spreadsheet or an Acrobat file, add the right parameter and it will download in that format. Check the Crystal Decisions web site for their knowledge base. It was a lot of help. Sorry, but we only have it on one web site, so I can't help you with multiple sites.
Hope this helped. (Blue, green or red hopefully, currently its all black!) What Crystal products would I need to purchase to accomplish the following: Offer Crystal reporting integrated with a Witango app on 3 separate intranets. I would develop most reports, but, What if they wanted the ability to do simple Adhoc reporting? Do they need to purchase additional licenses? Does Crystal coexist with Witango Server? As usual, all responses appreciated!
