I would really like to see OS X screenshots of the editor that I hope look better than the movie made... :(
I don't know, it just didn't look right. I know the OS X version will be missing some of the features of the Windows version (like the attributes window, snippets searching, browser mode) - and unless the plan is to bring those in quickly, the mac version won't fly for long; but it just looked plain ugly to me. For one, in classic Mac OS, there is no Combo-box and so I know the old version of Tango used a weird combo to create a combo-box like control. That always looked weird but acceptable in OS 8-9. It looks like it was kept in the carbonized version and that just looks gaudy. Even the Windows screenshots looked a bit gaudy, but I think that's just my personal aesthetic in fonts :D -- Alex Kac, CEO/Developer Innovation in Personal and Business Information Management http://www.pocketinformant.com/ zoomzoom > From: "[Gauthier]" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Reply-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Date: Thu, 1 Aug 2002 23:10:14 +0200 > To: Multiple recipients of list witango-talk <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Subject: Re: Re: Witango-Talk: Pushing the E:nvelope ;-) > > According to the site, we will hopefully get our hands on it soon :) > > The screenshots from the editor (http://xml-extra.net/webpage.xmlx?node=75) > also look nice, thanks to Ben and Scott! > > Gauthier > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Campbell, Steve V." <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > To: "Multiple recipients of list witango-talk" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Sent: Thursday, August 01, 2002 10:51 PM > Subject: RE: Re: Witango-Talk: Pushing the E:nvelope ;-) > > > I AGREE! > > Steve > > > -----Original Message----- > From: Dan Stein [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] > Sent: Thursday, August 01, 2002 3:43 PM > To: Multiple recipients of list witango-talk > Subject: Re: Witango-Talk: Pushing the E:nvelope ;-) > > Great now if we can all only get our hands on this puppy it would be > magical. > > Dan > -- > Dan Stein > Digital Software Solutions > 799 Evergreen Circle > Telford PA 18969 > Land: 215-799-0192 > Mobile: 610-256-2843 > Fax 413-410-9682 > FMP, WiTango, EDI,SQL 2000 > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > www.dss-db.com > > >> From: "Ben Johansen" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >> Organization: Intelisoft, Inc. >> Reply-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] >> Date: Thu, 1 Aug 2002 13:30:17 -0700 >> To: Multiple recipients of list witango-talk <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >> Subject: Witango-Talk: Pushing the E:nvelope ;-) >> >> Hi All, >> >> I read/disseminated/inserted 1434 pop3 emails from my Mail Server to >> Access. >> Using the new <@EMAILSESSION> and <@EMAIL> tags. >> >> Ok, that is pushing the norm, just a little ;-) >> >> Just wanted to let you all know that this new server means business. >> >> Ben Johansen - http://www.pcforge.com >> Authorized Witango Reseller http://www.pcforge.com/WitangoGoodies.htm >> Latest downloads & List Archives @ http://www.witango.ws >> >> >> ________________________________________________________________________ >> TO UNSUBSCRIBE: send a plain text/US ASCII email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] >> with unsubscribe witango-talk in the message body >> > > ________________________________________________________________________ > TO UNSUBSCRIBE: send a plain text/US ASCII email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] > with unsubscribe witango-talk in the message body > ________________________________________________________________________ > TO UNSUBSCRIBE: send a plain text/US ASCII email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] > with unsubscribe witango-talk in the message body > > > ______________________________________________________________________________ > ifrance.com, l'email gratuit le plus complet de l'Internet ! > vos emails depuis un navigateur, en POP3, sur Minitel, sur le WAP... > http://www.ifrance.com/_reloc/email.emailif > > > ________________________________________________________________________ > TO UNSUBSCRIBE: send a plain text/US ASCII email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] > with unsubscribe witango-talk in the message body > ________________________________________________________________________ TO UNSUBSCRIBE: send a plain text/US ASCII email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with unsubscribe witango-talk in the message body
