a quick thought is:
- sounds like the taf itself is corrupt - do you have a backup
- or I'd be looking at the dsn it is referencing - do you have any other tafs which reference the same dsn and if so do they crash the editor when you try to open and play with them?
- can you create a new taf which doesn't access any dsn and access that?
answering these questions will probably point you in the right direction.

I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to what to look at to
solve the issue described below.

Could it be a server setting ?
Why would it go from coming up quickly to not coming up at all - I
hadn't made any changes to the TAF.

I have very simple Search.taf file that I am playing around with. I had
re-booted my computer and now when I go to bring the file from my
browser I
am getting:

CGI Timeout

The specified CGI application exceeded the allowed time for processing.
The
server has deleted the process.

Not only that, but now when I bring up that taf file in developer studio
-
it hangs the program.

All other TAF's I have been working on are still working fine.

Thank you,

Steve Vellella
