Steve,
Well, without working out the details, I would take the number, place it
in a text file, PGP encrypt that file, copy the contents of that file
into my database and erase the file. Follow the steps in reverse to
retrieve the number. I'd have to work up some code to test this, but I'm
guessing a well oiled TCF would be priceless for this.
There are also PGP COM objects, they might cost money, but they would be
more efficient.
