It would be interesting to know how that occurred.
I must admit I've never had that problem but I still leave multiple copies of tafs around for the inevitable eventuality, or as Murphy's law would have it, the first time I don't backup.

Thank you Atrix and Garth. It was apparently a corrupt taf file - The one that quit working had grown to 14mb in size (hadn't looked till I got your emails) - the original that I pulled from a backup was 33k in size - pretty strange - but is working now and doesn't seem to be growing.Regards, Steve Vellella Atrix Wolfe wrote:sounds like a corrupt .taf file when you rebooted if it you didnt do a clean reboot it could cause this if the file was still open. i dunno how youd get it back unless you know XML and how witango uses XML and then open up the .taf in wordpad (; ----- Original Message ----- From: "Steve Vellella" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Multiple recipients of list witango-talk" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Wednesday, October 30, 2002 5:48 PM Subject: Re: Witango-Talk: CGI Error > I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to what to look at to > solve the issue described below. > > Could it be a server setting ? > Why would it go from coming up quickly to not coming up at all - I > hadn't made any changes to the TAF. > > I have very simple Search.taf file that I am playing around with.
