Thank you Atrix and Garth.
It was apparently a corrupt taf file - The one that quit working had grown to
14mb in size (hadn't looked till I got your emails) - the original that I
pulled from a backup was 33k in size - pretty strange - but is working now and
doesn't seem to be growing.
