I'm in the process of blowing away my Linux machine. I've got Red Hat 5.2
which appears to be bootable, 6.2 which I can't seem to boot from, and 7.3
which is where I was. Here's what was passed on to me with regards to 7.3
and Tango 2000:

*****
To use the Apache module you will probably need to use Apache 1.3.12,
which almost certainly isn't the version that comes with RH 7.3. More
importantly all the runtime libraries for 7.3 won't be right for Tango
2000 and you can expect hellish stablity. Phil might have fixed all this
in his latest version, but I run on RH 6.1 to avoid all of this.

The best advice I can give you is ignore error messages - figure out the
problems yourself. For example you will get "unexpected problem in
database" even if you don't get to the ODBC manager successfully.
*****

I'll keep you posted on my progress.

Hope this helps,

Steve Smith
