It's been multi-table since version 4. But each table was a separate file.
Now it's multi-table in a single file like other dbs.

I assume all that's really required from the point of view of another app is
to readdress the datasource naming convention. Of course I can imagine the
WiTango programmers cringing at me telling everyone how easy their job is
without actually opening the bonnet. ;)

Also, remember that FMP is not just a datasource, but also a front end. And
it is backwards compatible with FMP6 apps so the cost of changeover for
existing users is minimal. I just created a simple two table solution in
FMP6 and converted to 7. Easy.
