I have done 2 installs on Windows 2003, In one it worked fine, Permissions are a little different in Windows 2003. (things are defaulted off, not on) On the other, I continue to have problems running a second installer to upgrade or change the initial installation. Some how the environment is different, I suspect that is has something to do with the installer config and second one having SCSI Drives not IDE or SATA. - I got around it, but the editor install is a hack. I would be interested in hearing about similar experiences and solutions. Mike

I don't use VMWare's ESX Server product myself, but I believe the Remote Console is one of the methods used to interact with a particular ESX "instance" (local and/or remote), which is where the Server software is running. As I understand it, other Remote software can also be utilized with ESX. I do use VMWare Workstation everyday though, and have never had a problem with it with regards to Witango (any version). Could it be there is something unusual about the environment configuration of the ESX instance that Witango doesn't like? Like limited amount of RAM, Network settings or Processor affinity? And do you have the latest installer for 5.5? Hope that helps. PS. Thank you Ben, for the earlier compliment.
