I can vouch for it still being for sale - we just got it. It reads in server logs, so you can point it to archived directories in addition to live ones in order to bring in your old log information. The web interface is as John said - it's own little version of Apache that will run just fine on Windows 2000, and it's extremely easy to set up users to access via the web interface and give them access to only the reports they should be able to see (one or many - up to you)

It's actually a bit different than what you see in the Google Analytics free version - I really like it in comparison.

Cheers,

Jason

ps - if you go the the link that John provided you'll also be able to find resellers. I got our license through EpikOne (http:// www.epikone.com). Very quick and easy, plus you can do a quick install of the software with a 30 day trial to check it out. I'm a very happy customer so far...

So how come when I go to urchin it redirects to Google analytics?

Because Google bought urchin a while ago...

Cannot even find the site any more, plus a lot of asrticles on Google killing the product... mmmm

Can't comment on articles or rumors, but here is the link on their site that talks about the software...

http://www.google.com/analytics/urchin_software.html

If you go to the main GA page and click on "Features" you will see the software link in the right hand side.

No doubt they're pushing the use of the "live" product, but afaik the software will still be sold, and there's even talk of what happens when version 6 comes out.

I'll post a quick vote for Urchin (Google)

It should satisfy all your requirements.

It uses it's own Web server, no need for IIS to serve the reports.

Subject: Witango-Talk: OT - Stat Programs

Sorry for the off topic post...

I am looking for some input on stat programs. I have multiple web sites. I currenty am using DeepMetrix .xsp. Unfortunately, they were bought out by Microsoft and I cannot currently get any support. Might be time to move on.

What are you all using out there? Cost is defintely a factor. This is for around 15 sites currently.

Thanks for any replies!
