may i sugest an official window maker git repository where dockapp
developers can put their code, so we have the most important/used ones
all in the same place ?

agree with the "something similar". a tarball with the most usefull
ones, kept togheter with wmaker, but downloaded separately. kind of
how other desktop environments ship a "base" package, with other
usefull but non-essential apps as separate installs.

couldn't this be handled the way MacOS does ? any application that
want's a systray icon to show up as a full icon that'd answer to mouse
events the same way a systray icon would, that we could atract to the
clip or dock ?
