No, I use ed almost every day. It is the most convenient tool to make
small or systematic edits and works almost[1] the same everywhere,
even in braindamaged lunix systems.

[1]: GNU had to fuck up even ed, and the , command doesn't work
properly and tries to act as a pager, which is a major pain in the
ass, but it is easy enough to carry/copy around your own copy of p9p
ed.

Sure. I love the mouse.  On the other hand, suppose you would compare
the mouse to a mistress, and the keyboard to a spouse. It is good to
have both, but some people love their spouse more than their mistress.
I am one of such guys.

I don't really buy into your analogy, and there is a considerably
amount of complementarity. At the same time I doubt that you have ever
used a GUI that made any good use of the mouse.
