Hi,

I'm new to wmii but I'm coming from Ion3 world so some ideas of
minimalist or tiling window managers aren't strange to me.
It looks like the right tool for the job, but I've got problems with
employing wmii..

1. After hitting ALT+p nothing happens and i get this in ~/.xsession-errors:
"rc (/usr/local/9/bin/rc): empty argument list"
Similarly, after ALT+a i get:
"rc (/usr/local/9/bin/rc): null list in concatenation"

2. There's no text in statusbar, client labels, title bars - nothing
except empty labels. You can take a look at http://securge.net/pub/garage/wmii-screenshot.jpg just in case
if I'm using wrong termilology here.

In ~/.xsession-errors i get:
"rc.wmii.local: not found
overridekeys: not found"

I've tried with different fonts, but it doesn't help.
When I change rc.wmii for rc.wmii.local then wmii freezes

Can anyone help me, please?

I'm running wmii-3.6 (with dmenu-3.5 and 9base-b20060209) compiled and
installed via ports system on FreeBSD 7.0-RELEASE.
ps utility says that wmii is using ~/.wmii-3.5/rc.wmii (which is
unchanged, copied from /usr/local/etc/wmii-3.5). fdescfs is mounted with
/etc/fstab

By the way, is it intended that version number in directory names
doesn't match with actually installed version?

Any ideas and hints much appreciated.
Michal
