what locale are you using? looks like it's not UTF8
I'm using mix of C and pl_PL.ISO8859-2. After changing to pl_PL.UTF-8 I
can finally see labels, statusbar and stuff. Looks like this problem is
solved - thank you very much.
Menus still doesn't work.
