It brings to mind the first comment on sfgate.com when Hearst announced the possible closure of the Chronicle. It was something to the effect that "if you would become a conservative paper instead of the leftist commie rag you are now, then you wouldn't be having this problem." Hello? The economic downturn and reduction in ad revenue is not a red state-blue state thing. Even if they go righty (whatever the hell that means, the truth is the truth, and bias isn't mentioned until the news doesn't go your way), that still doesn't fix the fact that the economy's the shits!
