This is not a server side issue, but something on my local machine. I have disabled Norton, no avail, it still doesn't work. My ISP tech support could log into the sites from their machine. Its not the FTP server. The message is from WSFTP PRO and it says:
ERR 430 You are not authorized to use this protocol Then gives the uh oh noise. Any more ideas? -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Pat Sabin Sent: Wednesday, June 09, 2004 6:48 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: [WS_FTP Forum] unauthorized ftp protocol? I had the same problem for several days. The only thing that worked for me was to get my host to reset my ftp password to a random series of letters and numbers (it didn't work when I tried to create a new password for myself). I never figured out what happened or why. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Grant P.
