Which version of the WS FTP Pro client are you using, I just tested it using the directory C:\program files (Entered exactly like that) and it worked fine, I'm using version 2006.0.1.0 which is the version where they added local folders back into the client after they had it removed in ver 2006.

I've even tried renaming the local directory "\IPAD_betas", but using that in "Local folder" still takes me to the "\IPAD" folder. Is this a bug in WS_FTP, or am I missing something crucial here?
