Just for some example(s). Most are used in conjunction with bug's and merge requests in a Distributed + Gatekeeper model. IRC is also used to discuss more complicated issues. Examples of how we do things with Ubuntu-manual, Ubuntu Desktop Help, Ubuntu Server Guide and Gnome Help. All use different methods for tracking / working sections of material. The Ubuntu-Manual project is the only one which has an open commit model, the rest are gatekeeper models. * Ubuntu Manual: Overview -- https://launchpad.net/ubuntu-manual Bugs: -- Tracking https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-manual/+bugs * Ubuntu Server Guide: Overview: -- Tracking: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DocumentationTeam/SystemDocumentation/UbuntuServerGuide#Contribution_table Bugs -- https://bugs.launchpad.net/serverguide/+bugs * Ubuntu Desktop Help Overview: -- https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DocumentationTeam/SystemDocumentation/UbuntuDesktopGuide -- Tracking Sheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AsSw0cKYcffNdFlFakF5M0VjR002UEVvakVPZGpydHc#gid=1 * Gnome Desktop Help Overview: -- https://wiki.gnome.org/DocumentationProject/ Task Lists: -- https://wiki.gnome.org/DocumentationProject/Tasks/ApplicationHelp Bugs: -- https://bugzilla.gnome.org/buglist.cgi?product=gnome-user-docs&resolution=--- 73's Greg, KI7MT [email protected] _______________________________________________ Wsjt-devel mailing list [email protected] https://lists.berlios.de/mailman/listinfo/wsjt-devel
