What editor are you using in Windows? There's a couple of different
GtK files for Notepadd++ and Sublime I think it is, has a full set of
AsciiDoc schema pages too.
My problem isn't the editor. (I generally use Emacs, and it's all OK
with appropriate highlighting.)
The problem is a that asciidoc uses source-highighter when building the
html pages from .adoc sources. This prevents me from building them
properly on Windows, when [source,bash] blocks are present.
If we move compiling instructions to a separate manual, which I think is
desirable, I can live with it. Or I can build source highlighter from
source, on Windows; but that requires installing "boost". I can do
that, too...

The GNU maintainer said he's no longer building binaries for Win32, as
they can be built with MinGW or Cygwin. I downloaded the tar file,
will have a read and see what the Info says about Win32.
