The intention was that the build generates a user guide named with the version appended and the code references exactly that name for the online version. That means that the versioned user guide HTML can be dropped on the project web server exactly as is including the file name(s). The various released versions of WSJT-X would then have a matching user guide on the project web server until we decide to drop an old version completely when its user guide could be purged from the web server.
Also the document build will provide an attribute for the version string so that any references to the version number in the documentation can use {VERSION} and it will always match the version of the application that references it. Can I assume that the WSJT-X user guide documentation sources in ^/branches/doc are stable for a few hours so I can migrate them across to the WSJT-X tree(s)? > > -- Joe 73 Bill G4WJS. > > On 5/27/2015 4:17 PM, Joe Taylor wrote: >> Hi all, >> >> With SVN revision 5427 I have committed files to build the WSJT-X User >> Guide for Version 1.5.
