A yellow Tx status indicator implies JT65 mode, is that the mode you are 
using?

Does this always misbehave or does it sometimes disable "Enable Tx" when 
"Halt" is clicked in an Rx period?

"Enable Tx" will only transmit immediately if the current period is the 
selected Tx period. Are you saying that "Enable Tx " no longer starts 
transmission even in the selected transmission period?

The status bar item "Tx-Enable Armed" indicates that the option in 
"Settings->General" "Double-click on call sets Tx enable" is checked. It 
indicates that double-clicking a decode will turn on "Enable Tx" if it 
is not already on.
